Dry float

The NordicFloat dry-float bed cradles you on a warm, pressure-free surface. With external pressure and sensory input removed, the body shifts into deep restoration. No water, no undressing — just stillness, warmth and complete suspension for 25–40 minutes.

What to expect

The session,
step by step.

Pressure-free suspension for deep nervous-system reset — fully clothed, fully dry.

01

Settle

Step into the room fully clothed. Headphones, blanket and lights are dialled in to your preference.

02

Suspend

The bed cradles you on a warm, pressure-free surface. External pressure and sensory input fall away; the nervous system shifts toward rest-and-digest.

03

Return

Sound and light gradually rise. Most clients report a sense of weightlessness, mental clarity and calm that holds for hours.

04

Emerge

The session ends gently. Sit up slowly. Mental clarity and deep calm typically last several hours. Avoid caffeine to preserve the effect.

The science

why weightlessness unlocks what rest alone cannot.

Removing external pressure and sensory input shifts the autonomic nervous system from fight-or-flight into rest-and-digest. Even a single session has been shown to lower cortisol meaningfully.

  • Resets the parasympathetic nervous system
  • Releases deep muscle tension and supports recovery after training
  • Improves sleep quality and reduces anxiety, racing thoughts and mental fatigue
