Iron infusions at One Thirty Labs are provided exclusively following an individual medical assessment and approval by our Medical Director.Unlike our wellness IV therapies, iron infusions are a medical treatment and require documented evidence of iron deficiency before treatment can be approved.

The assessment fee of 1,500 DKK is separate from the cost of the iron infusion and must be completed before treatment can be booked.

Before your treatment, our Medical Director will review your medical information and blood test results to determine whether an iron infusion is clinically appropriate.

The assessment includes:

- Review of your blood test results
- Clinical evaluation of your eligibility for treatment
- Determination of the appropriate iron preparation and dosage
- Recommendation of the number of infusions required, if applicable
- Medical approval and prescription of your treatment plan

Recent blood test results are required before treatment can be approved.In most cases, blood tests performed within the previous three months will be accepted, provided there have been no significant changes in your health, symptoms or treatment since they were taken.

As part of the medical assessment, our Medical Director will determine whether the available blood tests are sufficiently recent and clinically relevant. Where appropriate, more recent blood work may be required before treatment can proceed.

If you do not have suitable blood test results, you may:

- book blood tests at One Thirty Labs
- provide results from your own GP or another healthcare provider.

In some cases, the Medical Director may determine that additional medical information or discussion is required before treatment can be approved. If so, you may be recommended to book a separate medical consultation before proceeding.

The 1,500 DKK Medical Assessment & Treatment Approval fee covers the doctor's professional review of your laboratory results, clinical assessment, treatment recommendation and medical approval. This fee is separate from the cost of the iron infusion itself.

Please note: An iron infusion can only be booked once your treatment has been approved by our Medical Director.
